Stan's favorite Colombian, Felix, spent several weeks traveling around Ecuador giving his testimony. During his time in Quito, he and Stan formed a strong friendship as they both share a passion for evangelism. We had Felix in our house one night during the World Series. Although he is more than a foot taller than Sherri, she threatened his life if he wore his Detroit Tigers shirt to her home! He humbly complied and wore a nice, respectable shirt to dinner.

Recently Stan led a street evangelism team outside of the Carcelen church in Quito. Felix shared his testimony and was able to draw a large crowd. Many people stuck around to hear the gospel for quite a while. (See the next picture.)

Many Heard the Gospel this Night, originally uploaded by S Hall.

After Felix gave his testimony and a crowd was gathered, people from the Carcelen church and seminary students spread out in the crowd sharing the gospel. The crowd included adults, teens and children. Several prayed for salvation.
